Dr. Katie Galbraith
Dr. Galbraith is a 2016 graduate (with honors) of the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. She attended Missouri State University for her undergraduate studies, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology and graduating from the Honors College. Dr. Galbraith is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) and has a passion for working with pediatric patients. She is currently working to achieve her fellowship through COVD. Dr. Galbraith is also a member of the Missouri Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. During her time in optometry school Dr. Galbraith was the recipient of the Beta Sigma Kappa Silver Medal. In 2015 she had the opportunity to travel to Roatan, Honduras to provide medical eye care and glasses to people on the island.
After optometry school, Dr. Galbraith returned to the Springfield area and currently resides in Ozark. She was honored to be chosen to participate in the premier class of OzarkLeads.
Dr. Galbraith married her husband Daniel in 2012. In their free time they enjoy traveling, weekends on the lake and spending time with their friends, family, and two dogs.
Dr. Sandy Rice
Dr. Sandy Rice is a 2017 graduate (with honors) of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She attended East Carolina University for her undergraduate studies, majoring in Biology and graduating from the Honors College. Dr. Trybus was recognized in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was Vice President of Gold Key She is the recipient of the Ocular Instruments, Inc. Award, Clinical Skills Award, and Bays Family Service Award. She is a current member of the Missouri Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, listening to live music, watching football, and spending time with family and friends.
As clinic manager, Viviana makes sure each patient feels welcome when walking through the doors. She is proud to be able to help people in the community where she grew up her whole life.
Her first career was as a public school teacher, but now Val helps students in another way. She is responsible for helping kids (as well as adults) be successful in completing their vision therapy treatment plan.
You will be greeted by Amy with a warm and welcoming smile as you enter the Ozark office. Amy has eight years experience in the medical field.
Abby is new to the area and has worked in optometry for over 3 years. She has a passion for helping people and is always interested in learning new things.
